Twilight Vision 022:

IAMX

Host: Damiana

Producer's Notes:

Where I usually would say "Damiana sat down with IAMX frontman Chris Corner...," in this case we have the pleasure of saying Damiana laid down with IAMX frontman Chris Corner after the release of their last studio album Kingdom of Welcome Addiction and at the beginning of their US tour. Appropriately, March 19th marks the release of the new remix album DOGMATIC INFIDEL COMEDOWN OK including remixes by such artists as Alec Empire and fellow Twilight Vision alum Combichrist.

Enjoy as Chris talks about life, music, fashion and the scary realities of American culture.

"Bloodbath & Beyond" (DRT Records)
"Let Us Slay" Music Video (Metal Blade Records)

Producer's Notes:
It's been 25 years since GWAR began their cultish punk-metal-blood and latex extravaganza. To say the least, Oderus Urungus has been an idol of sorts for most of my life. I sent Evan into the battlefield to do one of the toughest jobs of any anchor...interview the Scumdog God. I've seen many a host become victim of GWAR's press shenanigans, but Evan held his own. He even introduced Oderus to his new special friend. Have fun listening to Oderus ramble about the band's 25th Anniversary, escaping Earth, returning to Earth, doing crack, Sublime, his dick (the Cuttlefish of Cthulhu) and the Catholic Church.

Twilight Vision 21: Gypsy Tabor Festival

Twilight Vision 2010: Gypsy Tabor Festival

Look ma! We made it into the new decade! We wanted to start out the year with a bang, so we are bringing you an epic adventure of our host Evan dancing, drinking, singing and immersing himself into the Gypsy culture at the Mehanata Bulgarian Bar's Gypsy Tabor Festival held at the site of NYC's first airport deep in Brooklyn.

Tonight, we will be filming with Black Tape For A Blue Girl featuring Projekt Records founder Sam Rosenthall and Dresden Dolls/ex-World/Inferno's Brian Viglione!

Thanks for the continued support! We are still DIY and indie, so if you like what you see, please share with your friends or invite them to our group. Great things in 2010!

TwilightVision TV Episode 19: Damiana Darkstar meets Emilie Autumn

Greetings and salutations!

This is Damiana posting on behalf of TwilightVision TV with an account of my personal experience with Emilie Autumn and our interview.

Not only am I a fan of the musical and literary work of Emilie Autumn, but also fully appreciative of her as a person.

As a classically trained vocalist, synthpop lover, literary geek, activist and crazed Bowie fanatic, her music immediately struck many chords with me at once (pun unintentional).

Her particular fusion of classical violin, electro, creative and literary references, political provocativeness and dramatic presentation simply floored me upon first hearing her Opheliac album a few years ago.

It was as if I had finally encountered someone who managed to accomplish precisely what I had been aiming for in my own artistic endeavours!

After having learned that she was also vegan, I became a fully dedicated supporter of this amazing artist in every single way possible.

I of course jumped at the chance to interview her when asked to do so for TVTV, and even took time to hand make special treats to present to her and the Bloody Crumpets on behalf of TwilightVision TV and The Lorax Community Project!

I must say here that she is all that I had hoped for her to be, and so much more. She was delightful, engaging, informative, forthright and (in addition to all of that) such a fabulous flirt!

Her graciousness, sweet acceptance and seemingly infinite love toward all of her fans was also very touching to see, and I'm glad to have had a chance to interview and interact with so many of them personally.
Amazing people do seem to have a way of attracting equally amazing people...

She will be performing in NYC once again on Wednesday, 2nd December 2009 (this coming Wednesday) at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.

This show falls into perfect alignment with the FULL MOON!

This show will be magickal and guaranteed incredible.

I will be there, and hope to see many of you as well.

I urge everyone to catch a live performance if and whenever possible. She and the Crumpets are en pointe, simply spectacular and not to be missed!

Thanks for reading, and see you soon! =)

Love and infinite blessings to all,
Damiana
